Support Links for Everyday Learning

Hi everyone!
Here are a few valuable resources that I use on a daily basis to find out information and learn new things. Be sure to check them out the next time you have a question.

Dictionary.com   This is an excellent place to find definitions of words. It also includes thesaurus, encyclopedia and translator tools. A thesaurus is a tool that gives you words that have a similar meaning to a word that you start with. This is valuable when you are writing something because it helps you expand your vocabulary.
An encyclopedia is an excellent research tool because it gives you general information about a topic. Use an encyclopedia to start a research project and then look for more specific information about the topic you have chosen. Translator tools might help you complete your French homework by allowing you to input a word in either French or English and translate it to the other language.

Khan Academy This resource provides access to millions of quick lessons about math and science topics. If you don't understand a math process look here for a step by step explanation video.
